I have been working on the room upstairs to get it ready for Shylee. She is still sleeping in our bed and at 11 months, it’s time for her to move out! I have plans to put Kanyon in this room eventually, so it is decorated with him in mind as well. I haven’t done much painting since we moved in. So much work on the house kinda burned me out. I am starting to feel my creative juices working again and I think I might be up for the challenges ahead of me. Here is before.
See the white walls and white closet doors? And the light, unfinished pine trim? They are no more!!
I faux painted the doors, stained the trim, and painted the walls sky blue. It’s a totally new room and I love it. So does Kanyon. He wants to move into it as soon as he can! For now, Shylee will be there – hopefully not too long, then Kanyon will move in.
